What to do if you have wrong drivers installed

Solution

Customers that encounter a problem of their radar control unit not starting or not being recognized by the GAS/GASXP acquisition software due to a wrong drivers being installed on the laptop there is a requirement to change the drivers to the ones provided by Geoscanners AB.

The procedure is , unfortunately, not simple and requires some advance computer knowledge. Nevertheless, we have tried to make a clear step by step guide with attached screenshots. The guide is attached to this knowledge base article.

To the best of our knowledge the procedure works on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 and there are only smaller visual differences between the dialogue windows that do not change the way the procedure works.
